Andreas Vetter – Innovation Engineering | Portfolio

Hi, I am Andreas. Welcome to my portfolio! I like turning ideas into reality by bringing minds and perspectives together. This site is my public lab book of selected projects across Health, Energy, Mobility, Music and Art, and an open call for collaborations to launch new things.

Innovative Engineering
Too often, technical solutions are engineered in isolation, missing the human factor. With my background in Physics, Systems Engineering and Design Thinking, I combine creative methods with precision to build systems that are not just functional, but also user centric.
Projects: Mbition Test Farm (Daimler SW Factory), Hawkei PGS Development (Thales Protected Vehicles), Building up an EMI-Lab (RENK Magnet-Motor)

Next Big Thing?
In Design Thinking, innovation springs from real people’s perspectives and individual needs. Let’s build a team with many perspectives (users, dev teams, sales, …) and bring ideas together. I facilitate workshops to create the roots for further product development. This has led me to start-ups and many small to mid-sized innovative projects.
Fields: Energy (Turbit, Accure), IoT & Risk-Management (HDI), Health (Charité), Space (Uni Stuttgart), Automotive (Daimler, Mbition, Thales), Agile & New Work (Signal Iduna, 4ED1), Start Ups (BetaPorts), Social (d.collective), Sustainability (Accenture)

Prototyping & Experience Design (best Videos here!)
No prototype, no feedback! Building quick, effective prototypes takes a blend of engineering, creativity, and user insights. My latest journey: Building up a Tech Campus from the scratch —an interactive space for events, workshops and tech exploration.
Projects: IIoT and Risk-Management Campus (HDI TH!NX); Product Demo on water leak detection (Leak360), Product Demo on catastrophe risk management (SafeHub), vegetation management from space (LiveEO).
