About Me
I grew up in a peaceful little town in the south of Germany, studied Physics in Munich and moved to Berlin to think out of the box and came back.

MY STORY
Physics
I have studied physics at LMU Munich and made my master in Biophysics. It is great to understand the world and why the sky is blue. But it was a bit nerdy, equation-based, and hard to find a job as a "physicist". So I became an engineer.
Engineering
I have worked as an engineer in power generation, automotive and risk management so far. I like the challenges of engineering. They are clear and people know what they want. And in the end you have something that works. That is very satisfying.

Boundaries of Engineering
In engineering, requirements determine the product. Engineers like to follow requirements. It is easy and you know what to do. But who sets the requirements? Exactly this is where engineers have to understand humans - and they are not good at it. But this is what I wanted to do. So I moved to Berlin to study user-centric Design /Design Thinking.
User Centric Design
All products in our world have an (end-) user. Otherwise they are useless. This is why it is important to understand the user. In user-centric design, the product development starts with the user, with empathy, interviews and observations. It is not easy. Humans are complex. There are no yes' and no's for everyone. But, to find it out is a great power, and everyone needs it!

The magic process towards Innovation
Design Thinking is not only a 6-step-process everyone can learn, but more a scientific methods to generate innovation. It was developed as universal language for designers and is my personal key to work with people from various fields.
My years in Berlin
My first years in Berlin, I started 4 startups, whereof 1 got stolen and 1 failed. Nonetheless, I am proud that I was an essential part in starting them all, where my role was shaping the product and setting up internal structures so others can start working. Lateron, I found myself in more solid projects, like automotive and risk-management, where my role was on the initial creation and the following steps to make things happen.
Innovation Engineering
Now, I see myself at the interception between the user and the development team. With interdisciplinary workshops that are based on Design Thinking I transform ideas in concepts, and concepts into reality. Here I can use my expertise in Systems Engineering, and when I am lucky, I can be a part in building up the solution as well.

Art & Festival Projects
For the Music Festival "Bucht der Träumer" I created a "Bee & Beehive", located on the Bee-Stage Seeblick: An oscillating bee performing the so called "Schwänzeltanz", attracting other bees by dancing, while two beehives were hung up next to the dancefloor. Their sweet flavour and their gloomy light attracted the views of the visitors.
The behives were made of two real beehives from a friended beekeeper, with gloomy light shining through abandoned honeycombs. The light is controllable via bluetooth (and WiFi at home) and can be triggered to the music, but in my opinion it is best just glooming in honey colours.
The buzzy bee is technically a stroke oscillator with a bee attached onto it. The waggle-dance-fequency can be adjusted with a poti. The bee is a selfmade one, made of foam and Gaffa-tape (thanks to Tassi, and thanks to Pastanaga collective for the great opportunity and the support)

Yoga, Motorbike and Balance
I spend my free time with my drums, my band, my friends, and the balance of Yoga, bodywork, and Thai massage. I love riding my motorbike, a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, and exploring the world without too many restrictions.

Beyond Physics: The Inner Engineering
Where physics reaches its limits in describing the world as a whole, inner engineering begins. Yoga offers a different perspective on the human experience—one that I explore both in practice and as a 200h certified teacher. I (try to) practice daily, finding movement and breath as a form of alignment. In Thai-Yoga-Massage, I see a way to communicate without words, much like Yoga itself. I studied traditional Thai-Yoga massage in Greece and Thailand, learning how touch can restore balance and create a deeper connection.

Drums & Music
It’s all about rhythm—finding the right flow, keeping things moving, and bringing different elements together into something that just works. Whether it’s a groove, a system, or a conversation, the magic happens when everything locks in.
This is an album of my recent band Palisander (separated 2025), we recorded in Berlin in 2023-2024.
